I KNOW WHO DUNNIT...SAYS THE PET PARROT!
A New-yago County female resident, has been charged more than a year after her husband was found shot to death. According to reports, the family pet parrot might've witnessed the murder. Glenna Duram was charged on Thursday with first-degree murder and felony firearm possession. Duram is accused of killing her husband Martin "Marty" Duram May 13, 2015 at their home in Sand Lake. Glenna's deceased husband’s parents told reporters that apparent suicide notes were found in the days after the killing, allegedly written by Glenna in the couple's home. A handgun believed to be the murder weapon was also found. According to documents, police interviewed the children of Glenna and Marty (both had children from previous marriages) who indicated that the couple had a love-hate relationship. Glenna's son told police the couple argued “a lot," usually over money, and that while Marty was possessive, they both had quick tempers. There was also an unlikely alleged witness to the crime, their pet parrot named Bud, who's now living with his ex-wife, Christian Keller. According to Marty’s ex-wife Christian Keller, she and Marty purchased Bud during their previous marriage, however, Marty ended up keeping Bud after the divorce. Keller also told reporters that two weeks after Marty’s murder, Bud started going into strange rants. Screaming, yelling, and always ending with 'don’t f**** shoot'. Keller believes that those words were spoken by Marty to his murderer. The New-aygo County Prosecutor Robert Springstead has not ruled out using the parrot as evidence but said that his office would have to determine how "reliable" or "useful" their witness will be. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ HOW BADLY DID YOU WANT TO SEE THE SOLAR ECLIPSE? A health professional in California reported cases where eclipse-viewers sought medical treatment because they put sunscreen on their eyeballs to view last week’s solar eclipse. A nurse at Prestige Urgent Care in Redding, California, told reporters that they had patients at their clinic complaining of having severe eye irritation. When questioned these individuals admitted to putting sunscreen on their eyeball, so that they could view the solar eclipse since they did not have the special eyewear. The Sun also reported that doctors in Virginia have reported patients complaining of applying sunscreen to their eyes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WOMAN GETS STUCK IN WINDOW WHILST DISPOSING OF POOP In the UK, an amateur gymnast was on a first date with Bristol student Liam Smith when she "panicked" and threw the faeces out of the window into the garden. However, the poo did not reach further than the bathroom window, instead it became wedged between two non-opening windows. Of course Ms. Gymnast had no other choice but to inform her date, since they were in his shared house. According to Mr. Smith, they enjoyed dinner at a popular restaurant, had a few beers and then went back to the shared house in which he live, to enjoy the rest of the evening with a bottle of wine and a movie. Smith told reporters that the toilet window opened into a narrow gap separated by another double glazed window, and it was into that twilight zone that his date threw the fecal matter. Mr. Smith said that he went looking for a hammer to smash the window. By the time he got back to the window, his date who was already mortified, had already "climbed in head first" to clean up the "offending package". She then became jammed in the window. Smith said that he was starting to grow concerned, for her safety so he called the fire brigade. Ms. Gymnast was successfully removed from the window, by the officers, but not until after they themselves were recovered from the shocking sight. Although the woman was rescued unharmed, Mr Smith said his bathroom window was destroyed, so he set up a crowdfunding page to raise funds to repair his broken window. Smith originally set a crowdfunding target of £200, but instead already raised more than £1,200. He said he and his date agreed to split the extra cash between two charities, one supporting firefighters and another that builds and maintains flushing toilets in developing countries. Smith said that they have dated each other since the incident. According to Smith, they have already crossed the most difficult hurdle, and the second date was a lovely one. So who knows what the future could bring. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For complete stories, please go to the websites below: http://fox17online.com/2016/06/24/dont-shoot-did-pet-parrot-witness-owners murder/ http://www.foxnews.com/health/2017/08/28/health-professionals-report-cases-where-people-put-sunscreen-on-their-eyeballs-to-watch-eclipse.html http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-bristol-41167296
